Sainath Homoeopathic Clinic

I open shop 18 every morning here in Sainik Market. The market starts getting loud pretty early with all the vendors setting up. I spend most of my time behind the counter looking at these small glass bottles and the white sugar pills we use. People walk in from the street, sometimes they look a bit tired or just want a quick chat about their symptoms. It’s not a huge place, just a simple clinic. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint next year. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit on while they wait. My desk is usually covered in notebooks where I write down what folks tell me. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound that bothers me, but I get used to it. The light coming through the front door is nice in the afternoon. People in the market know us, they stop by for a minute even if they don't need anything. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. I keep the bottles organized by labels, though sometimes the ink fades. It’s quiet work mostly. You hear the scooters outside and the shouting from the other shops. I just sit here, listen to what people have to say about their aches and pains, and try to find the right little remedy for them. It’s just how the day goes here at Sainath Homoeopathic Clinic. We don't have fancy stuff, just the basics.
