Rastogi Spices

We are located in the Main Market here in Sultanpur, right in the Transport Nagar area. If you know where C E School is, we are just a short walk from there. My family has been working with spices for a while now. It’s a busy spot with all the trucks coming and going, which makes sense for where we are. We spend most of our mornings getting the bags ready and checking the quality of what comes in. It gets pretty dusty sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with whole and ground spices every day. People from around the neighborhood stop by, and we also deal with folks passing through the market. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a straightforward shop where the work gets done. Sometimes the smell of the chillies or turmeric is so strong you can smell it from down the road. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the orders are filled correctly. There are a lot of shops around here, but we’ve carved out our own little space near the school. It’s nothing too special to look at, just a regular place in Sultanpur where we handle our business. Most of our days are spent weighing things out and talking to the local drivers who stop in. It’s a lot of manual work, but we like being part of the local market scene here.
