Koutons Retail India Ltd is located over in Vpo Bhuapur, near the Fbb. It’s a retail outlet where we sell a variety of clothing items. The shop is pretty big, but it’s simple inside. We have racks and shelves filled with clothes for all sorts of people. It’s not a high-end boutique with fancy lighting. We just have regular lights and a lot of merchandise. The staff spends most of the day on their feet, helping customers find what they need or tidying up the displays. Bhuapur is a bit out of the way for some, but we have a steady stream of locals who come in. We get shipments of new stock every week, and that’s always a busy time. We have to count everything and get it out on the floor. The office part of the shop is just a small desk in the back where we keep the records. We don't have a big advertising budget. Most people just see the sign when they are passing through the area. Sometimes the weather makes it quiet, but usually, there’s someone browsing the aisles. We keep the place clean, but it’s a working store, so there’s always a bit of mess. It’s just a regular retail job. We open the doors in the morning, talk to customers, and lock up at night. That is how it goes for us here every single day.
