Jay Maa Saroja Devi Studio

We run Jay Maa Saroja Devi Studio over in Mohanganj, right near the Mohanganj Tiraha in Pratapgarh. It’s a local photography spot where we do a bit of everything. Most of the time, we’re taking photos for IDs or doing portraits for families. We have a small area set up with a few different backdrops and some lights that we have to move around depending on what we’re doing. The studio has been here for a while, and the walls are covered with samples of our work from over the years. It’s not a big corporate office; it’s just a room with a camera and a computer for editing. When it's wedding season, the place gets really hectic with people coming in to talk about their events. We spend a lot of late nights sitting at the desk going through hundreds of pictures. The area around the tiraha is usually pretty busy, so there’s always something going on outside. Sometimes we have to go out on location, which means packing up all the gear and hoping it doesn’t rain. It’s a lot of manual work and technical stuff mixed together. We don't have any fancy assistants, just us doing the best we can with the equipment we have. People in Pratapgarh know they can find us here if they need a photo taken for a special occasion or just a simple document.
