Down on Radha Rani Road in Civil Line 1, we’ve got our setup here at 793. It’s where Global Institute Of Information Technology runs from. Basically, it’s a bunch of rooms with computers and people trying to learn how to use them better. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons when all the monitors are running, so we usually have the fans going full blast. We started this because there was a need for it in the area. Not everyone has a good setup at home to practice on. We spend the morning getting the systems ready and checking the internet connection, which can be spotty sometimes around here. The students come in at different times throughout the day and evening. Some are really quick to learn and others take a bit more time, which is fine with us. We aren't some big corporate training center with fancy suits and polished floors. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of sitting and explaining things over and over. The road outside is always a bit chaotic with bikes and people walking by at all hours. It feels like a real part of the city. We’ve had a lot of different people walk through these doors over the years. It’s mostly just about keeping the machines running and helping folks figure out the software they need for work. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and patience, honestly. We just keep at it every single day.
