Over in Vetapalem, which is in the Prakasam district, you can find us on Ramalayam Street. It’s right near the market, so there’s always something happening right outside the door. Goli Madhu Babu is the one who keeps things running here, following in the footsteps of G. Girijapathi. We just call the business Waiter, which is simple enough for everyone to remember. It’s a dusty street, especially when the trucks go by, so we’re always wiping down the windows and the furniture. We’re not a big operation by any means. It’s just a small spot near the market where we do our daily tasks. Most of our neighbors are shopkeepers too, so we all know each other and say hello in the mornings. The Ramalayam temple is close by, so we hear the bells and the music during the festivals. It’s a very traditional kind of place. We don’t have any big goals of expanding or becoming famous; we just want to do our work and go home to our families in the evening. Some days the market is so crowded you can barely walk, and other days it’s quiet enough to take a nap in the afternoon. We’ve been at this 523187 zip code for a long time.
