If you are looking for Ujiwala Chits, we are located on YSR Street in Pamuru. The address can be a bit confusing because we have an old door number, 2-461, and a new one, 2-1416. Most of the locals still use the old one when they are giving directions. We are right in the heart of the Prakasam district. The office is a simple room with enough space for a few of us to work and a place for customers to sit. We handle chit funds, which means there is a lot of counting and record-keeping every single day. The street outside can get busy with bikes and people going about their business. We open up early in the morning before it gets too hot. The walls are painted a simple color, and we have some charts on the wall to keep track of the different groups. We do not have a receptionist or anything like that. Whoever is free just talks to whoever walks in. It is a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone, calling people to remind them about the auction dates. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish the ledger entries. It is hard work, but it is what we know.
