Swara Farmer Producer Company Limited is located out in 15-Pondurongole Rural, at 4-41 to be exact. It is a quiet area mostly, unless it is planting season. We are just a group of local folks who decided to band together to handle our farming business. Doing things as a collective helps us when we need to buy supplies or sell what we have grown in the fields. It isn't always easy working with so many different people but we make it work. Our office at 4-41 is where we keep all the ledgers and have our meetings once in a while. You won't find any flashy signs there. We focus more on the dirt and the crops than on looking professional for the city. Life in Pondurongole is slow but steady. We deal with the usual problems like bugs or late rains. Everyone knows everyone else around here. If you need someone, you usually just walk over or wait until you see them at the market. We don't use much technology besides what is necessary for the farm. Most of our day is spent outdoors anyway. We don't have big speeches or fancy goals. We just want to keep the farms running and make sure our families are taken care of. It is basic work but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up when we are busy outside. We have been doing this for a while now and we know the rhythms of the seasons. It is just how life is here.
