Superwiser

Our small setup is based in Vengalapuram Village. You can find us in the Pedacherlopalli Mandal area of Prakasham District. It is pretty far out from the big cities, which I like because it is much quieter here. My job is basically being the person who watches over the work and makes sure everything goes as planned. I spend a lot of time on my feet. There is no fancy office, just my home and the different sites I visit every day. Most of the people I work with are from the same village or from nearby areas. We have a rhythm to how we do things here. It is not always fast, but we try to be consistent. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get difficult after it rains, but we manage somehow. I have lived in this district all my life, so I understand how things work around here. People call me when they have a small project and need someone to supervise the details. I do not use big words or have a mission statement. I just show up, check the progress, and tell the guys what needs fixing before the day ends. It is honest work and it keeps me connected to the community. Living in Vengalapuram is simple, and my work is the same way. We just keep moving forward one day at a time without much fuss.
