Sri Lakshmi Radha Steel Traders

We have been running Sri Lakshmi Radha Steel Traders here in Pamur for quite some time now. You can find us right by Mayuri Lodge, which is a big help when people are trying to give directions to their drivers. The yard gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just how it is around here. We spend most of the day moving steel around and making sure the counts are right. It is not fancy work. My family helps out with the books and the phone calls. Sometimes the sun is really strong, so we take breaks when the trucks aren't lined up. People from around the area stop by mostly because they know where we are located. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything like that. Most of the time it is just us and the guys working the cranes. We try to keep the steel organized so we don't spend half the morning looking for a specific size. If you walk past Mayuri Lodge, you will see the gate. The traffic gets a bit heavy in the afternoons, but we manage. It’s a busy spot. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready for whoever comes in. Usually, it's local builders or guys working on small houses nearby. We have been in this spot long enough that most neighbors know the sound of the metal clanking early in the morning.
