Sr.Engineer

I am K. Dattatreya Babu, the son of Dr. K. Nageswara Rao. I work as a Senior Engineer here on New Post Office Street. This is in Singarayakonda, which is in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, 523101. My office is right in the heart of the town. It’s a busy street with people coming and going to the post office all day. I’ve followed in the family footsteps in a way, staying here in my hometown. My work involves a lot of technical oversight and planning. The room I work in is filled with old files and new project notes. It’s not a corporate environment. It’s just a local office where I can focus on my engineering tasks. The fans hum all day to keep the heat away. I spend my mornings checking on progress and my afternoons doing paperwork. Singarayakonda is a small place where everyone knows your name. I like that I don't have to commute far. I just walk down the street and I’m at work. The building is an old style house that we’ve converted for my needs. It’s comfortable and familiar. I’ve been doing this for many years and don't plan on changing anything soon. It’s a steady way to live and serve the community here. The local tea stall is just around the corner if I need a break.
