We are tucked right behind the Ravi Shopping Mall, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. Also, being near the Girls High School means it gets quite noisy when the bells ring and the kids head home. The address is 30/73/1/3A Chintalapudi, but most locals just call it the clinic near the mall. It is a small place. I spend most of my mornings cleaning the front area and checking the schedule. We have a few different rooms for different things. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when there are more than five people waiting, but we manage. The street outside is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache for some. I’ve lived in Chirala for a long time, so I know a lot of the families that come in here. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the backup, but we are used to that. It is just part of living and working in Chirala. We keep a stash of biscuits for when we get hungry.
