Priya Granites Exports

Our office is up on the third floor of Sri Balaji Tower on Anjaiah Road. It’s 304, right at the end of the hall. Working with stone like this means there is always a bit of dust somewhere, no matter how much we clean. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at samples. It’s heavy work, honestly. Moving slabs isn't for everyone but we’ve been at it for a while now. Some days the lift is slow, which is a bit of a pain when you're in a hurry. We mostly deal with the export side of things, so there's a lot of paperwork and checking schedules. It’s not a glamorous job. You spend a lot of time worrying about shipping dates and if the quality is what it should be. The office is usually quite loud because of the traffic outside on Anjaiah Road, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the containers get filled and the orders go out on time. Sometimes things go wrong with the transport, and then we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just part of the deal. We keep a pot of tea going most of the morning. It helps when the day gets long. We’ve been in this building for some time and it feels like home now.
