Our office sits right on the 4th Lane in Sivaji Nagar, over in Markapur. Being part of the Panchayat Raj in Andhra Pradesh means there is always something going on. We deal with the local village stuff and everyday administration tasks. It’s a plain building, nothing special, but it is where all the files and records live. People from the surrounding areas come in and out all through the day. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise and the desks are a bit cluttered with stacks of papers. We do our best to keep things moving along. It is a lot of coordination between different departments and people. Markapur is a busy place and we are right in the thick of it all. There are days when the queue is long and everyone seems to be in a big hurry. We just take it one person at a time and do what we can. The 523316 pin code is home for us.
