Khaja Stores

We’ve been here at Nagalakuntla in Giddalur for a good while now. The shop is located at 3-2-285. It’s a pretty busy spot most days. People stop by all the time for their daily stuff. Sometimes it’s quiet, and I just sit near the front door watching the street for a bit. There is always something that needs doing, like checking the shelves or talking to a neighbor who stopped by to chat. We try to keep everything very simple here. It’s not a fancy place by any means, just a regular store where you can find what you need without much fuss. My family helps out with the work too. Sometimes my son sits at the counter when I’m feeling a bit tired. It gets quite dusty outside because of the road, but we try our best to keep the inside clean enough for everyone. We know most of the people who come in by their names. Giddalur is a small enough place for that kind of thing. If someone happens to be short a few rupees, we usually just tell them to bring it by next time. That’s just how things work around here. We open early in the morning and stay until quite late. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use a small lamp. It’s just a normal life running a business in this part of town. We don’t have big signs. Nothing special, just Khaja Stores doing what we do every day since we started.
