Our shop is right in the middle of the action on Trunk Road. It’s number 1030 in the Sri Bapuji Market Complex. Being in Gopala Nagar means there is always something going on outside our door. The market complex is a busy place, and we’ve been here for some time now. Ongole is growing fast, and there’s always a new shop or house being planned. We spend our mornings going over sketches and then we are off to the actual sites. Trunk Road is usually crowded, so getting materials moved around takes some patience. We aren't a huge firm with dozens of staff; it’s just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know how the local soil behaves and what materials last in this weather. Most of our work comes from people who saw a building we did and asked who was behind it. We don't bother with much marketing. We just try to get the heights right and the walls solid. Our office has stacks of tiles and samples everywhere; it's not very tidy but we know where everything is. Sometimes things go wrong, like a pipe leaks or a wall isn't exactly where it should be, and we just go back and fix it. That's how it goes in construction. We just keep our heads down and keep working through the list of things to do each day, making sure everything is done right.
