Gorantla Bricks

We have been over here on Marila Road for quite a long time now. If you head down towards the Addanki area, you will eventually find Gorantla Bricks right at 2-41-56. It is mostly just a few of us working with the clay and the kilns every single day. Some days the red dust gets absolutely everywhere, but that is just how making bricks goes. It is very hard work, especially when it gets really hot outside in the afternoons. People from around this neighborhood usually stop by when they are starting a small project or fixing up an old wall. We do not have a big fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a yard full of stacks. Sometimes the trucks come in very early and we have to get moving before the sun is even up. My hands are usually stained dark by the end of every shift. We try to keep things organized but a brickyard is always going to be a bit messy and cluttered. It is a simple business at the end of the day. We make them, dry them, and then they get moved out on the trucks. There isn't much to say about it other than we are here most days if you need anything. The address isn't hard to find once you get on the right road. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
