Gopal Steel Syndicate

If you go down Kandukuru Road, you can find Gopal Steel Syndicate at Dr.No.3-56/1. We are right opposite the ICICI bank in the Prakasam District area. Working with steel is what we do every day. It is heavy, cold in the mornings, and burning hot in the afternoon sun. We have stacks of rods and sheets all over the place. Moving them takes effort and you have to be careful with your hands and feet. We have a couple of guys who have been doing this for years. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We are just a local syndicate dealing with metal. The traffic on Kandukuru Road is pretty steady, so there is always a layer of dust on everything. We spend a lot of time loading up trailers or unloading new stock that comes in. It’s a lot of physical work. Sometimes we just sit on the crates and have a chat when things are slow. Dealing with the bank across the road is convenient, but mostly we are focused on the yard. The sun hits the steel and makes a glare that can be blinding if you aren't used to it. We just do our job and go home tired at the end of the day. It’s a simple life and the steel keeps us busy enough to not worry about much else.
