Chaitanya College Canteen

You will find Chaitanya College Canteen right opposite the MLA House in Ongole. We have been here for a good bit of time, serving the students and the people passing by. Our address is in the 523001 area, which is usually quite busy during the day. Running a canteen means we are up early to get things ready before the first classes start. It is not a very big place, just enough room for some tables and the kitchen area. We mostly get the college crowd coming in for tea or a quick snack between their lectures. Sometimes it gets really crowded at lunch and we have to move fast to keep up with the orders. It’s a loud place with all the students talking, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Being across from the MLA House means there is often something going on outside on the street. We don't have a massive menu, just the usual things that people like to eat when they are in a hurry. We try to keep the food fresh and the chai hot. It is a simple way to make a living, honestly. We have been at this spot long enough that most of the regulars don't even need to look at the menu anymore. If you are in Ongole, you will probably see us right there by the college. It is just a local canteen doing its thing every day.
