Private Guards

We are over here at L-24 in the Housing Board Colony, right beside Pradeep Laundry. Most people know the spot because of the laundry, honestly. It gets pretty busy around here in the mornings when folks are dropping off their clothes, so we usually see a lot of the neighbors then. It’s a quiet enough part of Alto once the main traffic dies down. We’ve been in this office for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. It’s just a few of us handling the desk and making sure the guard schedules are sorted. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just looking over paperwork on those old wooden desks. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise when it’s on high, but you get used to it after an hour or two. It’s not a fancy setup, but it’s where we get the work done. The street outside can get a bit dusty during the dry season, so we’re always wiping down the front window. Usually, someone goes out around four to get tea for everyone. It’s just how the day goes here at Private Guards. We don't have any big signs, just the name on the door so people can find us.
