Novacare Drug Specialities is located in a quiet part of Alto Porvorim, right behind the Chodankar Nursing Home. Our building is called Heramb, at house number 1576/1. Being tucked away like this means it is usually peaceful, except when the delivery vans are backing in and out to drop off supplies. We handle a lot of different medicines and pharmaceutical products, so the office is always full of boxes stacked up high. It feels a bit like a warehouse sometimes. We spend our hours checking expiry dates, sorting through invoices, and making sure the chemists get what they ordered on time. Bardez is a nice area, but the hills here can be a bit steep when you’re carrying heavy crates. We aren't a big fancy pharmacy with neon lights; we are more of the behind-the-scenes operation that keeps the supplies moving to where they need to go. The staff here is small, and we mostly just get on with our tasks. We drink our tea in the small space we have left between the desks and the storage shelves. It’s honest work, and being so close to a nursing home reminds us why getting the right drugs to the right people matters. We just keep track of the inventory and try to stay organized in the middle of all the cardboard and paperwork every day.
