We are up on the second floor of the building above the Bank of Maharashtra on Journalist Colony Road. It’s in the Alto area. We deal with security systems, which mostly means we spend a lot of time looking at wires and monitors. The office isn't anything special. It's got some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and a lot of equipment stacked in the corners. We aren't big on corporate talk or long meetings. We just want to get the systems installed and working right. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we’ve seen all the common problems. We walk people through how to use their alarms or cameras without making it sound like rocket science. It’s practical work. Sometimes we’re stuck in the office doing paperwork, but we’d rather be out at a site. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit much if you’re carrying heavy boxes, but we’re used to it by now. Journalist Colony is a decent spot to work from. We know where to get a good tea nearby when we need a break from the screens. We just keep things moving, making sure the gear is solid and the connections are tight. It’s a straightforward business, and we try to keep it that way for everyone who comes to see us. We do the work, lock up, and head home to our families.
