Aum Wholesale Medical Agency

If you head out to Mander via Madhavpur, you will eventually find us. We are Aum Wholesale Medical Agency. It is a bit of a drive from the main towns, so it is pretty quiet out here. Most of our day is spent moving boxes of medicine and checking expiry dates on the shelves. It is a big warehouse-style space and it can get a bit lonely sometimes when there are not many deliveries scheduled. We have to keep everything very clean, which is a bit of a chore given how much dust blows in from the fields nearby. We use a lot of clipboards and pens to keep track of everything. The air is usually still, and you can hear birds outside more than you hear cars. Sometimes a local doctor or a small shop owner will drive out to pick up something they ran out of. We sit on plastic chairs and have our lunch while looking out at the road. There is not much drama here. We just make sure the stock is where it is supposed to be. It is an important job, I suppose, but it feels very ordinary when you are doing it every day. We have gotten used to the pace of life in Mander. It is slower than the city, and that suits us just fine. We just go about our business and head home when the sun starts to go down. It is peaceful.
