Vasant Handicraft

Vasant Handicraft is based out of Jay Appartment, specifically at number 201 in the Ravaliya Plot area on Station Road. It is a very busy part of town because of the railway station being so close by. We use the apartment as both a workspace and a place to keep our current stock. There are boxes of handmade items stacked up in almost every corner of the room. We spend our time checking the quality of the crafts and packing them up for the people who buy them. It is a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work for us. The noise from Station Road is always there in the background, but you stop noticing it after a while. We are not a big factory; we work with local makers to bring all these things together in one place. It is a lot of manual sorting and careful wrapping so that nothing breaks during transit. We do not have a fancy storefront with big glass windows. People who know us just come up to the second floor of Jay Appartment. We have been here for quite some time now, and the neighborhood feels like home to us. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due to leave the next morning. It is a simple business, really. We just like the things we sell and want to make sure they get to people in one piece. There is no corporate ladder here, just us doing our daily tasks.
