We are Saurashtra Cement Ltd and we are located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. You can find our office at 6A, Hanwant Vihar. We are right opposite K N College in the Raikabagh area. It’s a pretty well-known spot because of the college, so we get a lot of people passing by. Jodhpur is a beautiful city, but it gets incredibly hot, which definitely affects how we work. We usually try to get the heavy work done before the midday sun hits. Our office is a straightforward place. We don't have plush carpets or fancy coffee machines. It’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of talk about cement. We deal with various construction projects around the city. Some are big and some are just people fixing up their own homes. We treat everyone the same. We’re not interested in sounding like a big corporation. We’re just local people who know a lot about cement and how to get it moved from one place to another. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside the college. We take it as it comes. We’ve been at this Hanwant Vihar location for a while now and most of the local contractors know us by name. It’s a good way to work, staying simple and just focusing on the job at hand every single day.
