Saurashtra Cement Limited

Our Noida office is over in Sector 36, at A-58. It’s a typical Noida setup. The streets are wide, and there’s a lot of concrete everywhere you look. We’ve been operating Saurashtra Cement Limited from this building for some time. It’s a practical location for us to get to and from. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of talk about logistics and supply chains. We get people calling from all over the northern region. The commute for some of us is a bit long, so the office usually gets going properly around 9:30 or 10:00. It’s not a flashy corporate headquarters with a lobby. We have some storage in the back and a small kitchen where we make tea several times a day. The walls have some charts on them, and there’s always a stack of invoices that needs looking at by the manager. We don't go in for big presentations or mission statements. We just sit down and get through the work on our plates. Sometimes the dust from the nearby construction gets inside, which is a bit funny given what we do for a living. It’s a solid place to work, though. We stay focused on the task at hand and don't spend much time on anything that doesn't help get the cement to the customers. It’s just a group of people working hard in an industrial part of the city.
