Saurashtra Cement Limited - Porbandar

We are Saurashtra Cement Limited - Porbandar, but this specific branch is located way over in Orissa. We're in the Ocl Colony at Rajgangpur, in the Sundargarh district. It’s an interesting setup being in a colony area. It feels more like a community than just a place of business. We’ve been operating out of 2M/P for a while now. The work is mostly about coordinating the cement supply for this region. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking on the phone with drivers. Rajgangpur is a busy industrial kind of place, so there’s always something happening. We aren't a big flashy company with a lobby and a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find a few of us in the office drinking tea and looking over the delivery schedules. The building is basic, just bricks and mortar, which I guess is fitting for a cement company. We have our good days and our bad days, like when a truck breaks down or the rain slows everything down. But we just keep at it. People know us as the local guys for Saurashtra Cement here. We don't do much advertising. Mostly, it’s just people hearing about us from their neighbors or other contractors. We stay busy enough without all that. It’s just regular work for regular people, and we like it that way. No one here is trying to impress anyone with big fancy words.
