Parishram Shala Sankul

Parishram Shala Sankul is right here on Thoyana Road in Ranakandorna. If you know the area in Porbandar, you know it can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing the daily work of running a school. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. Mostly, it’s just the classrooms, the courtyard where the kids run around, and the sound of the morning bell. People around here know where we are. You just head down the main road and look for the gate. Some days are busier than others, especially when parents come by to talk about how things are going. We try to keep things organized, but you know how it is with a lot of students in one place. There’s always someone moving a desk or looking for a lost pen. Most of our day is spent inside the rooms or out front near the road. It’s a local spot, pretty much like any other school you’d find around this part of Gujarat. We just open up early, get through the lessons, and close up when the sun starts going down. It’s a simple routine that we’ve stuck to for years. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just keep the doors open for the air to move through.
