Noori Mughlai Restaurant

Noori Mughlai Restaurant is over in the Memonwad area of Porbandar. We are located on Al Noori Road, and a good landmark for us is the Muslim Girls High School, which is very close by. We specialize in Mughlai cooking, which is something we’ve been doing for a long time. Our family has always been involved in food, so it felt natural to open a place of our own here. The restaurant isn't very large, but it has a cozy feel to it, especially in the evenings when the lights are low. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen working on the gravies and the meats, making sure everything is cooked the way it should be. It’s a slow process sometimes, but you can’t rush this kind of food. We get a mix of families coming in for dinner and workers looking for a good meal at the end of their shift. Being near the school means we also see a lot of parents and teachers during the daytime. Porbandar is a quiet place compared to the big cities, and Al Noori Road has its own pace. We like being a part of this neighborhood. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us working together to make sure everyone who comes in leaves with a full stomach. We don't use any fancy tricks or expensive marketing. We just cook the food we know how to make and hope people enjoy it.
