You can find Jay Murlidhar Hotel right at Shop Number 02 on Rokadiya Hanuman Road. We are sitting right opposite the Marketing Yard in Porbandar, so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around. It’s a very busy part of town. Because of the location, we get a lot of workers and people coming in from the villages to sell their goods. They usually want something quick and filling before they head back out. The shop is small, but we try to make enough room for everyone. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially with the stoves going. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a few fans that do their best. Porbandar is a salty place being near the coast, and the air here shows it. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. We don't spend money on flyers or ads. People just know where we are because they see the sign when they are at the yard. The food is simple, the plates are steel, and the water is cold. That’s about all you can ask for on a busy workday. We stay open pretty late to catch the last of the crowd. It’s tough work, but it pays the bills and keeps the family going. Our pincode is 360575.
