Jam Travels

We have been sitting here on M G Road in Porbandar for quite some time now. Our little office is located right near the Swastik Paan Shop, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. If you get lost, just look for the Hathi Tanki and you will realize you are very close to us. It is not a very big place, just enough room for a couple of desks and some chairs for people to wait. Usually, the mornings are the most hectic time here. We get a lot of people dropping in to ask about bus schedules or trying to see if there are any seats left for the night trips. Being in Porbandar, we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. It feels more like a community spot than just a business sometimes. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, checking with drivers or confirming bookings. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to work once it’s back on. We don’t really have any fancy decorations or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we can get the work done and help folks get to where they need to go. We keep a few old maps on the wall, even though everything is on the computer now. It just feels right for the office. We are usually here until late evening.
