Inter-Chemi International Ltd. , Sharjah, U.A.E.

We operate here in Porbandar, right at Matru Krupa across from the Jubeli School in Bokhira. It’s a bit of a funny situation because our name says Sharjah and U.A.E., but this is where we actually sit and do the day-to-day work for Inter-Chemi International. The school across the street means it gets really noisy twice a day when the kids are coming and going, but otherwise, it’s a pretty peaceful part of town. The office is basically a ground-floor space that we’ve filled with filing cabinets and a few sturdy desks. We deal with a lot of international paperwork, which is why the name is what it is. The air here has that salty smell from the coast, which is nice most of the time. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for a long time, so we don't need much in the way of formal rules. We just show up, see what's on the desk, and start working through it. The internet can be a bit slow some days, which makes the Sharjah side of things a bit difficult, but we manage. There’s usually a pot of tea on the stove in the back. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the address and the name on a small plaque. It’s a humble place, but it’s where all the business actually happens. We just take it one day at a time.
