Orient Abrasives Ltd. is right in the middle of the Gidc. Industrial Area. It is a very busy place with trucks and lorries coming and going at all hours. We have been a part of this local landscape for a long time now. The work we do here is gritty and real. You can hear the sounds of the heavy machinery right from the street. We do not have a lobby with magazines or a coffee machine for guests. It is an industrial site through and through. The Gidc. Industrial Area is where we feel most at home because everyone else is doing the same kind of hard work. We handle the materials and the processing every single day. Some days are much longer than others, especially when a large order comes in unexpectedly. We do not spend our money on big advertisements or radio spots. People in this industry already know Orient Abrasives Ltd. and they know exactly where to find us. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy. The floors are rarely clean for more than five minutes, but that is just the nature of the work we do. We have a crew that has been with us for years. They know the equipment better than anyone. It is a solid place to work and we just show up and do it. We don't make big promises, we just get through the day's tasks.
