You can find National Elec-trade Company right across from the fire brigade on Geb Office Road in Porbandar. Being at 28-29 Dwarika Avenue makes it easy for people to spot us when they are heading toward the government offices. We deal with electrical parts and supplies, mostly just keeping stock of what the local contractors and electricians might need for their jobs. The shop is filled with boxes of wires, switches, and components. It can get a bit cluttered sometimes because we are always receiving new shipments, but we know where everything is kept. Porbandar has that coastal air, and you can feel it even inside the store on humid days. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of our regulars by their first names. They come in, tell us what they’re working on, and we find the right part for them. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy slogans for us. It’s just us behind the counter. Most days are steady, with people dropping in for a few bits and pieces. We keep the fans running to stay cool and listen to the street noise outside.
