Jai Shree Bhavaniamman Paver Blocks & Engineering Works

Our business is Jai Shree Bhavaniamman Paver Blocks & Engineering Works and we are located at 15 on the Madharpakkam - Gummidipoondi Road. We spend our days making blocks for driveways and paths around this area. It is a lot of mixing cement and pouring it into the heavy molds we have. We also do some engineering jobs when people stop by and ask for them. The yard is quite big and it’s usually covered in dust from the sand and gravel we keep there for the blocks. Working on the Madharpakkam - Gummidipoondi Road means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. It’s a hot job especially in the summer months but we just keep the water bottles full and keep working as much as we can. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or nice chairs. We just have a small shed where we keep the records and talk to customers who drive into the yard. We started this place because we saw people needed pavers for their homes and there wasn't anyone close by making them for a fair price. We aren't a big corporation, just a local crew that knows how to work hard with our hands. Sometimes the molds break or the mixer stops working and we have to fix it ourselves right there. That’s where the engineering side of the business comes in handy for us. It's just a regular yard doing regular work every day.
