G G Caterers

If you drive down Koyambedu Main Road in Thirumullaivoyal, you’ll find us at number 42/23. That’s where G G Caterers operates from. It’s a bit of a noisy spot with all the traffic, but it’s convenient for getting supplies in. We’ve been doing this for a few years now, mostly focusing on catering for local families and small gatherings nearby. We don’t do any of that fancy molecular gastronomy stuff you see on TV. It’s just solid, traditional cooking done in big batches. Our kitchen staff is small, just a few people who have been with us since we opened. We spend a lot of time cleaning lentils and chopping onions. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day near the big burners, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the rain makes deliveries tricky around Thirumullaivoyal, but we usually figure it out. We don’t spend money on advertising or social media experts. Most people find us because they ate our food at a friend’s house and asked for our number. We keep a simple menu because that’s what we are good at. There’s no need to overcomplicate things when people just want a good meal for their guests. We just focus on getting the food to the venue on time and making sure there is plenty for everyone. It’s a plain business, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills for the staff here.
