Baskar Maasilath School

Baskar Maasilath School has been part of Jayaram Nagar for a good while now. We are located right here in Gummidipundi, and most people around here know exactly where we sit. It is not a very big place, but we have enough rooms for the students who come every morning. The building has some age to it, so the walls might need a fresh coat of paint soon, but everything works okay. We have some trees in the front that give a bit of shade when the sun is out hot. Most of our teachers live nearby, so they walk or bike to work. They know the families around here pretty well. We have the usual desks and chairs, and a small area where the kids can run around during their break time. It gets a bit noisy during lunch, which is normal for any school. We don't have fancy computer labs with the latest gadgets, but we have the books and the space needed to teach. Parents usually stop by the gate to talk to us about how their children are doing. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a fan stops working, we get it fixed. If the roof leaks a bit when it rains hard in Gummidipundi, we patch it up. It is just a regular school where kids come to learn their lessons and spend time with their friends before going home at the end of the day.
