Sm Granites

Sm Granites is situated right on Pattambi Road in Edapal. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always something going on outside our gate. We have a decent-sized area where we keep all the granite slabs. Some are from nearby and some come from further away. Working with stone is a heavy job, and our hands definitely show it. We don’t have a fancy office or any air conditioning; we’re mostly out in the yard where the stone is kept. When someone stops by, they usually have a rough idea of what they need, and we just show them what’s currently in our stock. The inventory changes quite a bit depending on what we can get our hands on each month. Edapal is a good place to be, and we know a lot of the people who live nearby. We aren’t interested in being the biggest business around. We just want to do our job and make sure the slabs are cut properly. Sometimes the edges are a bit rough until we have time to finish them up. It’s a noisy place when the saws are going, and there is always some water on the ground to keep the dust down while we work. We’ve been doing this for years now, so we’ve seen all kinds of granite come through this yard. If you’re driving down Pattambi Road, you’ll see our sign out front. It’s a plain place, but we have plenty of stone to look at if you're in the market for some.
