Nithin Books

Started at Vm Convent in Malappuram. It's just a shop where we keep books. Most days are quiet. We open early when the sun isn't too hot yet. There are lots of shelves. Dusting them takes forever. Sometimes students from the convent come by. We try to keep what they need. It is not a fancy place. Just a regular bookstall. We have been here for a bit now. People know us as Nithin Books. We sell pens and notebooks too. Sometimes I sit at the counter and just look at the road. It’s a simple life. No big goals, just keeping the shop running. We have many types of books, some old, some new. The wooden racks are getting a bit old. I think about painting them but never get the time. Customers come in and talk about the weather or local news. It’s nice to have those chats. Malappuram is a busy place but our corner near the convent feels okay. We just do our work and go home.
