Medas Traders is situated in the Alath Building on Thrissur Road in Edappal, Malappuram. This road is always busy with vehicles moving between towns, so there is a lot of energy around us. Our office is a simple one. We have various samples of the things we trade sitting on the shelves and ledgers spread out on the desks. It is more of a family environment here than a corporate one. We know most of the other business owners along Thrissur Road and we often chat with them during breaks. The weather in Malappuram can get quite hot, so our fans are usually running all day long to keep the place cool. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on deliveries that are coming in. It’s not a fancy job, but we’ve been doing it for a long time and we know the ropes. Sometimes shipments get stuck in traffic or delayed, which can be a bit of a headache, but we just handle it as it comes. The Alath Building is easy to find if you are driving through Edapal. We have seen the town change a lot over the years while we stayed in this same spot. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when we are busy with a big order. We just roll up our sleeves and get the work done. No fancy talk, just trading and making sure everything is in order.
