We are located at No. 6 Avvai Street in Vengadachalapathy Nagar. It’s over in the Thirubuvanai area. S. K. Exports Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for quite some time now. We handle exports, mostly focused on textiles and related goods that come out of this region. The street is usually quiet, which is nice for getting work done without too many distractions. Inside, you’ll find desks covered in shipping documents and samples of whatever we are currently moving. We don't have a big corporate culture here. We’re more like a small team where everyone knows how to do a bit of everything. If the phone rings and I’m busy, someone else picks it up. We don’t have fancy job titles that mean much; we just get the crates loaded and the paperwork filed. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the monsoon, but we keep the warehouse dry and the goods safe. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We’ve built up good relationships with the local suppliers over the years. They trust us to get their products to where they need to go. We don't go around making big promises we can't keep. We just do the work, day in and day out, and try to keep our heads down. It’s a steady way to make a living for all of us here.
