The Global Voyage

The Global Voyage is on J N Street at No 25. You have to come up to the 3rd floor to find us. It’s right across from the traffic station, which is handy because everyone knows where that is. J N Street is one of the busiest streets in Pondicherry 605001. There is always something happening outside. From our windows on the 3rd floor, we can see the police and the cars moving through the intersection. The office itself is quite simple. We have our computers and some chairs for guests. Climbing the stairs every day keeps us moving, though it can be a bit much in the humidity. We don’t have a lift, so people have to be okay with the walk up. We handle a lot of different travel requests and spend a good portion of our day on the phone or responding to messages. It’s a steady kind of work. The building is a bit older, so sometimes the doors creak or the lights flicker, but it’s our space and we’ve gotten used to it. Being opposite the traffic station means there is a lot of noise, especially sirens and whistles, but it’s just part of being in the center of town. We stay busy with the paperwork and the planning. It’s just a regular office where we get things done without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been here for some time now and it feels right.
