We are located at A-30/B in the Thattanchavady Industrial Estate. It is one of those places where you can hear machines running from almost every building. Our space is pretty basic, with just enough room for the equipment and the few of us who work here. The industrial estate can get quite dusty during the dry season, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces. We don’t have a big reception area or shiny signs because we don’t really need them. Most people who come by are just here for pickups or to drop off supplies. The street layout in the estate can be a bit confusing if you aren't familiar with it. We have our routines, starting early before the sun gets too hot. Usually, the morning is the busiest time when we are sorting through what needs to be finished. Lunch is usually a quick affair at our desks or sitting outside if the weather is okay. Shoney Scientific India is just a small part of this big industrial area. We’ve seen other businesses come and go, but we just keep doing our thing. There are stacks of boxes in the corner and tools spread out on the benches. It’s a working environment, so it’s rarely quiet or perfectly tidy. We just make sure the work gets handled properly without any fuss. It’s been our home for a while now.
