Located at No. 55 Kannagi Nagar on the Villupuram Main Road in Villianur, our shop sees a lot of traffic passing by. The road is always busy with buses and trucks going to the main city. Sometimes the dust from the road blows inside, so we have to wipe down the counters a couple of times a day. We keep a variety of items in stock for whoever happens to stop in. It might be a farmer from nearby or someone just passing through. We have a small back room where we store the bigger items. It’s a bit cramped in there and you have to watch your head on the low beam. We don't really have a fancy display or anything. Most things are just on the shelves where people can see them. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals who come in. They usually stay for a bit to chat about the weather or how the crops are doing this year. It is a friendly atmosphere most of the time. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if we know someone is coming from far away. The lights inside are a bit dim but we know where everything is kept. It’s just a basic business that serves the people around Villianur. We do what we can to stay organized even when things get a bit hectic in the afternoons. It keeps us busy and we like the neighborhood.
