Sri Jayalakshmi Travels

We are over here on M G Road in Muthialpet at number 473. Most people in the R K Nagar area know where this is because it is a busy part of Pondicherry with lots of bikes and people walking past all day long. We spend most of our time at the desk answering the phone or looking at bus timings on the screen. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and we just have to wait, but that is just how it goes in a small office. People come in to ask about going to Chennai or maybe Bangalore or just a local trip around the town. We have been here for a bit now. It is just a simple office with some plastic chairs for people to sit while they wait for their tickets to print out. There is a lot of dust from the road so we are always wiping down the glass and the desk. The sign outside is easy to see if you are coming from the main junction. We try to keep things easy for everyone. If someone needs a car or a bus, we see what we have and tell them the price. No big fancy stuff here, just a regular travel shop in a regular neighborhood. Sometimes it gets quite loud with the traffic outside but we are used to the noise by now. The tea shop nearby brings us drinks in the afternoon. It is a decent place to work. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening lights come on.
