Sri Cabs

Our small office for Sri Cabs is at No 192, Thiruvalluvar Salai in the Saram area. We are right in Kuyavarpalayam, which is a busy part of Pondicherry 605013. The road outside is always full of movement, and there is a lot of noise from the buses and bikes passing by. We have a simple shop front where we keep our keys and the booking register. Most of our day is spent sitting at the desk, taking calls and trying to figure out which driver is closest to the next pickup. It can get a bit stressful when everyone wants a cab at the same time, but we just take it one call at a time. The office isn't very big, so it can get a bit cramped when a few drivers come in at once to settle their accounts. We usually have the radio playing in the background to pass the time. We’ve been in this spot in Saram for quite a while now. We know the tea seller nearby and the other shop owners on this stretch of Thiruvalluvar Salai. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we don't really try to be anything we are not. We just focus on getting the cars out and making sure the bills are paid. It is a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy and we like the rhythm of it.
