Sri Balaji Tourist Cabs

Our office for Sri Balaji Tourist Cabs is located at 194 Chetty Street. This is an old part of Pondicherry, 605001, where the streets are a bit narrow but full of life. We have a small storefront where we sit and wait for customers to come in. Most of the day is spent cleaning the cars or talking to the drivers about their next trip. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a couple of desks and a bench for people to sit on while they wait. Chetty Street can get quite crowded with two-wheelers and people walking to the nearby markets. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking right in front, so we have to manage that too. We’ve been working from this building for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We handle a lot of local trips and sometimes people want to go further away to other cities. We just write everything down in our big diary and make sure a car is ready when it needs to be. It’s a very manual process, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea from the stall down the road while we wait for the phones to ring. It’s just a regular local cab business trying to do its job every day.
