Soundar Travels

Our business, Soundar Travels, is located at No:64, Subbiah Salai in Pondicherry. We are directly opposite the railway station, which means it is always busy around our door. You can hear the trains and the whistles all day long, and there are always people rushing around with bags. We chose this spot because it’s where the travelers are. Our office is a practical place, not meant for lounging around but for getting travel business done. We have a few desks and some chairs for people who come in right off the train. We mostly deal with car rentals and planning local trips. It’s a lot of coordination with drivers and keeping track of the keys. Because we are near the station, we get a lot of walk-ins who just need a ride or a quick tour. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just a local shop providing travel help. The air can be a bit heavy with the station noise and the street traffic, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been at No 64 for a good number of years. It’s a simple life of managing schedules and making sure the cars are where they need to be. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try to be helpful to whoever stops by our desk.
