Smartkidz Playschool

Our location is at No:68 on Kamaraj Salai in the Thattanchavadi area of Pondicherry. Since this is a playschool, things are handled a bit differently here than in a big high school. The building is colorful because we want it to look cheerful for the little ones who are coming away from home for the first time. It stands right in a busy part of town, which is very convenient for parents who work nearby or live in the 605009 area. Inside, you'll find several small rooms filled with toys, mats, and low tables. Drawings and charts that the kids have helped make are pinned all over the walls. Things get a bit messy sometimes with blocks and crayons scattered around the floor, but that’s just how it goes with toddlers. Our staff are mostly aunties from the neighborhood who have plenty of patience. A typical day involves singing songs, telling stories, and helping the children eat their snacks. Out back, there is a small gated area with a slide and some swings. It's not a huge park, but it works for a morning run-around. There is no rigid corporate curriculum here; we just make sure the kids are safe and learning how to get along with each other. This is a simple, local place where we know every child by their name and every parent by their face.
