We are based out of number 20 on the Pondicherry Highway, specifically in the Venkata Nagar area near Pattanur. This location works well for us because it is right on the main road where all the traffic moves through. Smart Track Call Taxi Pvt Ltd is basically a hub where we manage the cars and drivers. It is a bit noisy sometimes with the highway right there, but that is just part of being in this line of work. Inside the office, it is mostly about phones ringing and radios going off. We spend the day tracking where the taxis are and making sure they get to the right pickups on time. It is a practical business. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that because most of our work happens out on the road. The office is where the coordination happens. Some of the drivers stop by to take a break or check their schedules. We have a small team handling the calls and the dispatching. It gets really busy when there is a festival or when the weather is bad and everyone wants a ride at the same time. We just try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can without making things too complicated. Being near Pattanur puts us at a good spot for reaching different parts of town quickly. We just focus on the job at hand, making sure the drivers know where they are going and the phones are answered.
